Northwest Bears
The Northwest Bears is organized as a gay men's social and service organization that provides a focal point within the Gay Community for Bears and the men who have an affinity for bears. Usually, Bears shy away from defining themselves in any specific terms. Generally speaking, Bears are usually hairy, maintain facial hair, and come in all shapes and sizes. Bears and Bear admirers, also known as Trappers, are as diverse as the gay community itself. The Club does not practice exclusivity, but fosters a social environment that supports and promotes bonds of loyalty, friendship, and respect.
