Ranes Chair
Author: Greg's little one
Filed in: rhyme, desire, sadness, acheSitting here in your chair
You’re around me everywhere
Sitting here for you to see
Nothing more than just me
My heart breaks for you tonight
I am finished with this fight
My soul cries for you once more
Why was staying such a chore?
I can feel you all around
I try so hard to hear a sound
My body aches for your touch
My mind is lost to this rush
The passion you once knew
Has subsided, it is through
My desire is not dark
That flame once burned, left a mark
I offered freely my submission
This was always without condition
I knelt before you waiting for you to accept
This was something you should have kept
My eyes burn from the tears
You ran away from your fears
Sitting here for all to see
I have always been, simply me
Here is something that is true
I have always been here for you
Think about what’s been lost
Is it worth this deep cost?
What am I worth to you?
Is there something you won’t do?
I offer you everything
I need my soul to simply sing
I sit alone in your chair
My face covered by my hair
My body begging for your touch
Can’t you see I miss you very much?
