True Liberation
Author: Gina Jones
Filed in: submission, rhyme, desire, want, passionWould that you were of flesh and blood
And not a mere shadow upon my mind
To weave your darkest, deepest mystery
As a vine around a blossom, entwined
Would that you were of substance not fancy
Of strength in will and mind and spirit
To embrace the mortal, the soul that yields
And compel me to obeisance with your wit
Would that you were of feast not famine
Able to sustain the hunger of my being
Yet, indeed you live and breath and move
Within the deepest reassesses of my submission
Tangible as life itself, you mould me
And cause me to know the joy of true liberation
