the aftermath of Him

Author: submissive giana

Filed in: patience, sadness, loss

Behind the mask she wears as skin
Scars and pain start deep within
Outwardly working to tear her apart
Gripping her soul as it shatters her heart

Each day moving slowly to look at a face
Unrecognizable, gone with no trace
A girl once was there, smiling, bright eyes
Now nothing, just blankness, staring demise

Yet somewhere deep down, blooming so soft
A part of her grows, was never killed off
So she sits and she waits, letting it grow
Hoping one day for someone to show.
