My Bell

For when he covers my mouth
On a basic level it is my voice
Cause I cannot cry out
But He says it is “my” bell
Why is this so?
It is my bell cause it is linked to me,
The bell is the only part of me that is not His
Master can possess this body,
He does possess my soul
But this bell can speak for me
When I am bound
He gives me this little piece of myself
So that I can be reminded
He loves all of me
Yet preserves me
Within this little bell.
